Taylor Swift, the Grammy-winning singer whose album Fearless was 2009’s best-seller, arrived to ELLE’s cover shoot in a refreshingly un-diva-like manner—with just her mom and three acoustic guitars. No hair extensions or shiny jumpsuits, either—just a long-sleeve cotton shirt, a skirt, and men’s oxfords. However, after only minutes with ELLE’s hairstylist, Ken O’Rourke, Swift’s signature corkscrew curls vanished, along with her girl-next-door style, replaced by straight bangs and a seriously sexy ’60s pleated cream dress from Chloé. Next, the singer happily zipped into alpine white Oscar de la Renta bloomers, blouse, and lace-covered bowler hat, worn with rhinestone Sonia Rykiel platforms. Soon, though, Swift came back down to earth in a simple, pale pink Jason Wu dress. She’d asked that it be saved for last. You can change the clothes, but you can’t change the girl.

FEARLESS TOUR 2010 KICKS OFF US DATES WITH CAPACITY CROWDS AND STRONG REVIEWS

Taylor Swift’s FEARLESS 2010 Tour began its run through US arenas this weekend, wowing Florida crowds with sold-out shows in Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Lauderdale/Sunrise.

Taylor plays seven different instruments over the course of the two-hour show, which features three acts and eight costume changes. The 39-date tour is visiting arenas and stadiums in 31 cities in 25 states and provinces in the US and Canada over the next 3 months. Taylor Swift has revealed that the pain caused by her former boyfriend Joe Jonas can source several of her albums.

The 20-year-old singer was dumped by the Jonas Brothers star in a 27-second phone call after they dated for several months in 2008.

The Love Story hitmaker said she was not yet finished singing about the heartbreak and more songs on failed romance could be expected, the Daily Star reported.

She told Elle magazine: “I like to categorise the various levels of heartbreak. I”ve only had that (had her heart broken) happen once. A letdown is worth a few songs. A heartbreak is worth a few albums.”

Grammy winner Taylor Swift is set to play at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in P.E.I. in July.

The country singer’s appearance at the second annual music festival was announced Monday. She is the latest addition to the festival lineup which includes artists such as Keith Urban, Ashley MacIsaac, Emerson Drive and Lady Antebellum.

Kevin Meyer of Meridian Entertainment Group, the promotor for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, called Swift a “great performer.”

“She is the largest selling, quickest selling touring act in North America as we speak,” Meyer said during the news conference.

“She kicked off her North American tour this past weekend in Florida. Every single show that they’ve put on sale in North America is sold out on the first day.”

Swift won four Grammy awards in January for her latest album, Fearless. That album earned the 20-year-old singer a Grammy for Album of the Year, making her the youngest winner ever in that category.

The five-day festival begins on July 7. Tickets for Swift’s performance go on sale Saturday.

So, she stays on guard with constant vigilance, especially, when the hounding paparazzi is sniffing around. She is a thinker and takes every step with great caution so as not to fall in the trap planted by the news mongers.  She is quite a reputation-conscious woman and it’s only her early days in this cut-throat world of showbiz. So, before every move she makes, she thinks hard, broods over the possible consequences and starts to analyse everything.

It’s been awhile since we’ve last heard anything surrounding the Taylor and Taylor love drama, but it seems to have resurfaced thanks to a recent interview Taylor Swift had with Elle Magazine! When asked who she thought was hot, Taylor responded, “Um, well… Taylor Lautner.” OMG! I guess Taylor Swift has no problem being honest about how hot she thinks her former crush is! We wonder if Taylor Lautner is blushing right now!
