Taylor Swift excepts from the new issue of ELLE. Who she thinks is hot: ‘Um, well.. Taylor Lautner.‘ On whether she’s really ‘fearless’: ‘I overthink everything. I overanalyze everything.’ One of her biggest fears: ‘Me making a bunch of bad decisions and embarking on a painful, slow, devastating tailspin.‘
On media scrutiny: ‘I’ve had countless opportunities to do some really bad things. And then people start combing through everything I do trying to find the next mistake and misperception, which leads to more scrutiny. Like, if I go to a bar, even if I’m not drinking, who’s to say that a source isn’t going to say that I was doing something I shouldn’t have been doing? So it’s not only about your own moral compass, but the moral compasses of other people that you don’t know.’
On wanting to visit Nashville as a child: ‘I just got it into my head that there was this magical place that I needed to go to because that was where dreams come true.’ On sourcing material from her romantic relationships: ‘I like to categorize the various levels of heartbreak. I’ve only had that happen once. A letdown is worth a few songs. A heartbreak is worth a few albums.’ Outtakes @ TSW.

Taylor Swift’s Style
Go behind the cover shoot—and get her look
Taylor Swift, the Grammy-winning singer whose album Fearless was 2009’s best-seller, arrived to ELLE’s cover shoot in a refreshingly un-diva-like manner—with just her mom and three acoustic guitars. No hair extensions or shiny jumpsuits, either—just a long-sleeve cotton shirt, a skirt, and men’s oxfords. However, after only minutes with ELLE’s hairstylist, Ken O’Rourke, Swift’s signature corkscrew curls vanished, along with her girl-next-door style, replaced by straight bangs and a seriously sexy ’60s pleated cream dress from Chloé. Next, the singer happily zipped into alpine white Oscar de la Renta bloomers, blouse, and lace-covered bowler hat, worn with rhinestone Sonia Rykiel platforms. Soon, though, Swift came back down to earth in a simple, pale pink Jason Wu dress. She’d asked that it be saved for last. You can change the clothes, but you can’t change the girl.

I love her answer to the first question. Haha! :-P

FEARLESS TOUR 2010 KICKS OFF US DATES WITH CAPACITY CROWDS AND STRONG REVIEWS
Taylor Swift’s FEARLESS 2010 Tour began its run through US arenas this weekend, wowing Florida crowds with sold-out shows in Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Lauderdale/Sunrise.
Taylor plays seven different instruments over the course of the two-hour show, which features three acts and eight costume changes. The 39-date tour is visiting arenas and stadiums in 31 cities in 25 states and provinces in the US and Canada over the next 3 months. Last month, Taylor took the FEARLESS tour overseas, playing eight sold-out shows in Australia and Japan. A complete listing of tour dates is available at www.taylorswift.com.
Every critic in every market she visited had praise for Taylor’s show:
“Stratospheric,” raved the Tampa Tribune. “Two things that have remained the same are Swift’s undeniable charm and her bond with her audience. She’s the coolest girl who ever got her heart broken.” The St. Pete Times said, “Taylor Swiftly wows the crowd! Totally winning…audience pandemonium…star power…a prodigious talent.”
“The return of teen-pop madness,” wrote the Orlando Sentinel. “With the night’s most emotional songs delivered capably in stripped-down acoustic arrangements…Swift sells the material with sincerity.” “Taylor Swift wows Orlando crowd,” raved Orlando Metromix. “The entire concert was visually amazing…a spectacle that plays out like a two-hour story of her life – with humor, wit and stage presence well beyond her years. Swift has a genuine connection with her audiences that isn’t contrived, it’s sincere. I left admiring Taylor not only as an artist, but as a person. She sets the example of what an artist should be, both professionally and personally.”
“Taylor Swift thrills the screaming girls in Sunrise,” wrote the Miami Herald. “Musically substantive and affecting…..Swift caused pandemonium with…..earnest sweetness of the songs, charisma and star power.” “Taylor Swift wins over BankAtlantic Center,” said the Miami New Times. “Every attendee walked away feeling like they knew her a little better…Swift kept the energy high,….the steady vocalist….never spent more than a few seconds in one place or more than a few minutes in the same gown.”

Hi guys! Sorry about not posting here lately, I’ve been really busy. But I’d have to say, great job in updating Ghie! (She’s our newest staff member.) Thanks for keeping the site alive. :-)
Also, sorry to everyone who has sent an email over the past week, I haven’t received them until today. I don’t know what happened. But rest assured I already replied!
Anyway. Here are pictures from Taylor’s photoshoot for Elle Magazine! These photos were out a while back but they’re too gorgeous not to post! Check them out if you still haven’t. Taylor looks so good.
And if that’s not enough… Here are two behind the scenes videos! :)

Taylor Swift has revealed that the pain caused by her former boyfriend Joe Jonas can source several of her albums.
The 20-year-old singer was dumped by the Jonas Brothers star in a 27-second phone call after they dated for several months in 2008.
The Love Story hitmaker said she was not yet finished singing about the heartbreak and more songs on failed romance could be expected, the Daily Star reported.
She told Elle magazine: “I like to categorise the various levels of heartbreak. I”ve only had that (had her heart broken) happen once. A letdown is worth a few songs. A heartbreak is worth a few albums.”
